Business Card Marketing

I highly recommend ordering your GDI business cards right now here:

I like the design with the red car on front and the "Income For Life" message on the reverse but there are other options available to you. Pick the design right for you.

Once you have your business cards, start leaving 20 to 30 cards near the cash register of local businesses you normally visit routinely. Businesses such as the local dry cleaner, ice cream shop, vitamin store, etc. - you get the idea. Just be sure to ask permission first! Most places say yes. The key to business card marketing is consistency. Do this every month - and keep plenty of business cards in your car.

For this to be effective, you need to distribute about 1,000 cards every 90 days and you need to do this consistently. If you start out doing it then stop, it will not work - this works on the law of averages. This comes to about 10 or so cards per day that you need to distribute.

DO NOT give them directly to people - that does not work. Why? Because, if you give them to everyone you meet, only a few MAY be interested. When people voluntarily choose your card, this automatically targets interested people - they are choosing to pick up your card. Let them call you. People generally do not like to be sold to - but if they call you, the door is open.

Here is where this gets powerful, as you start recruiting people, make sure you stress to them to order their business cards and begin distributing 1,000 cards every 90 days and make sure they teach their new members to do the same. Let's say you get 5 people in your first tier distributing 1,000 cards every 90 days, instead of only you distributing cards, you now have yourself plus 5 other people doing it. That is 6,000 cards every 90 days. Once they each get 5, that is over 25,000 cards being distributed every 90 days. It is a simple, effective and affordable way to market this business and ANYONE can do it.

Do you want to make money? Do you really or do you just talk about it? If you REALLY want to make money - order your business cards today and begin distributing 1,000 every 90 days and teach your new members to do the same. There are over 600 million people internationally who use the Internet regularly and over 599 million of them have NEVER heard of Global Domains International! Who will they hear about it from? Also - every time you pay a bill, put a business card in the envelope and mail it off! People process payments and your card will be seen when the bill is opened and processed. Inviting People With The Email Feature

I do not recommend using the invite feature because for some reason, a good portion of the email sent out ends up in people's spam folder and does not get seen. Instead, use your own email account to send emails to friends and family. To obtain the email letters that GDI uses, simply use the invite feature to send an invite email to yourself and then you can copy the format of those emails into your own use. Be sure to put your signup links in any email you send from your own email account (see below).

After you watch this training, you can use your invite feature by logging into your GDI backoffice at www.website.ws/members and clicking on the invite feature as shown in the video. After you send your invites (you can send up to 100 per day), you can track the statistics of who opened the invite and watched your presentation. This feature can be found in the same place you send your invites, it is called Statistics.

Build Your Custom GDI Website

You do not need to build your own website because GDI already gives you the websites listed above to promote your new GDI home business. However, if you want to get listed in the Search Engines, I highly recommend that you learn how to use the site builder program in your GDI backoffice.

Before you build your custom website, read this free e-Book, "The Building Of A Better Website" by Thomas Prendergast. This site opens up a pdf file and you will need the Free Adobe Reader to open up the file. If you do not have it already, download the Adobe Free Reader Here. Online advertising can gain good exposure for very little money. I primarily use these sources to place online ads:

Leadsomatic - $10 a month service that allows you to create and save classified ads with an anchored back-link to your website and then post to thousands of online classified ad sites with the push of a button. Create and save as many ad types that you want, and then come back and re-post the ads periodically to thousands of ad sites with push button ease.

Blastomatic Link Generator - Free service that will blast one classifed ad and anchor back-link to your website to thousands of ad sites with the push of a button.

MyUSFreeAds.net - There are two levels with this service, free and a $10 per month paid service. I like the $10 per month service because it allows you to post unlimited numbers of classified ads at no additional cost and you can set all your ads to auto-renew. Otherwise, your ads expire after about a month. Tip: In the Title of your ad, be sure to include 1 to 3 keywords on how you want your ad to be findable in Search Engines. Search Engines will index your ad and include it in online search results within about 24 hours, making your ad have true international reach.

Directory Maximizer - Use this service to submit the website domain you purchased from GDI to over 1,000 directories. For best results, use the site builder software GDI provides to build a custom website that promotes your GDI business. You will spend over $100 to submit one site to all 1,000 + directories, but it is money well spent as you will get a permanent, lifetime link from each directory, generating long-term web-traffic to your sites. Social Maximizer - This service submits your website to social bookmarking sites. Why is this important? Search engines notice when a website is socially bookmarked, creating more relevance for you site and increasing your potential to be listed in the major search engines.

SocialAdr - This service allows you to very easily and automatically build incoming links to your website from Social Bookmarking sites - very important link sources for promoting your website. Basically, it works, even while you sleep. There are two levels, free and paid. The paid service starts at $17 per month.

BackPage.com - You can post free ads here for free but I like to pay for their service that renews the ad automatically. The cost is a few dollars, but it is a bargain because it automatically reposts your ad for however many weeks you purchased.

Craigslist.org - Post free ads in the small biz section in your City or area. Click Here for a help guide to posting on Craigslist.

eBay Classifieds - Post free ads here.

The best website(s) to advertise through the classified ad sites are your Freedom.ws/ or your Website.ws/ sites (be sure to insert your GDI username after the .ws/ ) - you want the traffic going to YOUR site!!!!

I recommend placing several classified ads - EVERY WEEK! Over the course of a year, you want hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of your ads out there. The more, the better and all should contain a link to your site(s).

FreeFFA's - This is a $10 a month service that typically provides over 100,000 email leads per month. To make the best use of this service, you will need a high volume autoresponder email compliant marketing system to upload these leads to. There is a free level you can register for that allows you to download approximately 3,000 to 5,000 email leads once per month.

Marketing On YouTube

YouTube.com is free to join and is easy to use. I find that the best way to get exposure on YouTube is to upload videos of yourself talking about your business with other people, or, training videos demonstrating how to build your website, or how to enroll, etc. Any legitimate training topic is fair game, and can build visitors to your videos, and ultimately, your website. Aim at creating and uploading at least one video per week on a different topic. This is one way to get a loyal following. Make sure your YouTube profile and the description under each video links back to your GDI website!

Paid To Click Advertising

Paid to click advertising is an easy way to get immediate traffic to your GDI affiliate site. Paid to click can be effective if not overused. I typically recommend using these services on a limited basis, no more than 2 to 4 times per month.

ClixSense - Low cost penny per click advertising service. Tip - do not use more than once a week and target your traffic to USA only or worldwide premium members.

Hits4Pay.biz - Low cost advertising service and you also get paid for reading advertising. Use once or twice a month - target traffic to USA, Canada, UK, EU, Australia.

http://www.e-mailpaysu.com/advertise.html - Low cost paid to read email & pay to click advertising service. Tip - use no more than once every two weeks and advertise your Freedom.ws or Website.ws site here. In the comments section - request to advertise ONLY to USA, Canada, UK, Australia using this service.

http://cashmoneyemail.com/advertisers.htm - Another low cost paid to read email and pay to click ad service - use no more than once or twice a month. Advertise the same websites I recommend for e-mailpaysu. In the comments section - request to advertise ONLY to USA, Canada, UK, Australia using this service.

Free Banner Advertising

BannersGoMLM.com is a free service that can advertise your GDI business on thousands of websites all across the Internet. There is one catch - you have to build your own website and insert the Banners Go MLM code somewhere on your site. You earn credits two ways: 1) Everytime someone visits your website, you earn a visit credit, 2) You also earn credits when you recruit others into BannersGoMLM and they display the banner code on their websites. As they earn credits, so do you. Your downline in BannersGoMLM goes 5 levels deep, so the potential to build up an incredible amount of credits is enormous. Credits = Your Banners Shown On Other Sites. There is no money to be made from this, it is simply a free way to promote your business on other websites that participate in BannersGoMLM. Send An Email To Your Friends & Family

The secret to this business is sending visitors to your video presentation website. There is a ready to go website that GDI gives you to promote this opportunity and you always send this link with any email you prepare to friends and family that promotes GDI. The site(s) you want to include in your email is:

Remember, don't use the email invite feature in your GDI backoffice. For some reason, these emails end up in the recipient's spam folder and they don't get seen. Instead, send an email with the website address noted above from your own email account to your friends, family and prospects. You need to do this within the first week after joining GDI.

Marketing GDI With Traffic Exchanges

One of the easiest and low cost ways to market GDI is with traffic exchange services. The traffic exchanges typically have a free level and a paid level. I recommend joining at the free level, but it can pay to join at the paid level too - for one - you get a lot of credits added to your account at the paid level which you can use to assign more traffic to your advertised sites. It's simple to start - all you have to do is join by clicking on the links below:

1) TrafficSwarm - One of the largest and most reputable traffic exchange networks. What I love about it is you set your ad up once and the traffic is on auto-pilot each and every month.

2) Wolfsurfer - Very popular and easy to use site. Allows text ads and banner ads.

3) HitSafari - Another popular traffic exchange site that allows both text and banner ads.

Start advertising one of your GDI sites on all the traffic exchanges you join: either your http://www.website.ws site and/or your http://www.freedom.ws site - and be sure to enter your gdi user name after the .ws/ - you want the traffic going to YOUR site! Your GDI lead capture pages have a built in autoresponder that responds automatically to all people who enter their name and email in your lead capture pages.

Tip - The traffic exchange sites give you a free affiliate website to refer others. Be sure to email your affiliate link for each traffic exhange you join to your downline members and encourage them to join the traffic exchanges under you. The traffic exchanges reward downline building in their programs with commissions and by giving you more free traffic to your advertised websites. Overtime, your traffic exchange commissions can offset the cost and even put you in profit mode and develop additional streams of income.

Tip 2 - Join at the paid level for each traffic exchange and then send your affiliate link for each traffic exchange to your downline and encourage them to do the same! This is the easiest way in the world to promote GDI and it works over the long-term (12 months minimum)

My Marketing System - Advanced And Powerful

Simple - relevancy. Google is not likely to list your website without good quality anchored text link coming from multiple sources. What is an anchored text link? This is >> GDI Home Business

Note that the "anchor" is the text "GDI Home Business". The link is to http://gdiusa.ws . When Google "sees" this link on a good quality site, this anchor text becomes a "vote" for my website with Google on this search term. Anyone searching on "GDI Home Business" in Google will find my site listed on page one of Google. Sounds easy? Well, I worked for over a year to get top ranking on Google for this keyword search phrase. That means a ton of anchored text links pointing to my site. The Directory Blaster Service makes it easy. These websites serve various functions and I will explain them below: (Note that wherever you see "yourusername" in a website address below, simply replace that with your own username you created during the GDI signup process.

www.freedom.ws/yourusername - This is actually my favorite site to send prospects to. Why? Because it contains a wealth of information, they can watch the full version video presentation if they want to, which is powerful. And, it contains a lead capture form at the bottom of the page. If they complete the lead capture form, your GDI account will automatically send professional followup email from you to the new prospect encouraging them to join. It basically shows the opportunity to people in a self-guided fashion, and your more interested prospects will fill out the lead capture form, creating a prospect that GDI follows up with automatically on your behalf - POWERFUL.

www.freedom.ws/yourusername/show_dvd - Visitors to this website are treated to an autostart of the full version video presentation. If you simply want your prospect to view the video presentation to sell the opportunity for you, send your prospect to this site. It also contains other information as well.

www.my.ws/yourusername - This is a simple lead capture page, effective for sending cheap pay-per-click traffic to. To get any information, people have to fill out the form with their name and email, they are then shown a brief video presentation of about 4 minutes, and then given the opportunity to watch an animated presentation that goes into more depth. A convenient sign-up button is available throughout the presentation so they can join at anytime. If your goal is to develop prospects to let the autoresponder go to work for you, this is an effective page for that.

www.website.ws/yourusername/preflash - Visitors to this website are treated to an autostart of the short video presentation of about 4 minutes. They are then invited to join or watch the animated guided tour which explains the opportunity in more detail.

www.website.ws/yourusername - This is another lead capture page where you can let the autoresponder do the work for you for interested prospects that complete the form with their information. The only difference is that this page contains information about GDI - they dont have to fill out the form to find out about the opportunity.

www.website.ws/yourusername/show - This is an animated tour of the GDI opportunity. Good for sending prospects to, whether it be friends, or pay-per-click or other legitimate advertising.

These are the sites I use, in a combination of ways, to promote my GDI business. You can choose to use one or all.

Submit Your Websites To The Search Engines ASAP!

The first thing you need to do is go ahead and submit all these websites (with your username) to the search engines. I use the following free service, but you can use any reputable submission service.

After you submit each website, you will be directed to a confirmation page where it will instruct you to manually submit to both Yahoo and MSN. Make sure you do this because you want to be indexed by Yahoo and MSN. You will be sent a confirmation email with each submission, be sure to click on the confirmation link in each email you receive, otherwise, your submissions will be ignored.

Post your GDI websites at the following link directories:

Tip: For the low cost directories, DO NOT spend more than the minimum required to get your link in the directory. The purpose of the directory listing is just to get listed - the search engine spiders see a $1 link the same as a $100 paid link, or even a free link. A link is a link to the search engines. As such, dont get dupped into spending more than the minimum required to get in a directory. If free is the minimum cost - do that.

Submitting to Link Directories does not drive high volume traffic to your sites, instead, it creates relevance for your site so that the major search engines are more inclined to list your site in Google, Yahoo and MSN. Without directory linking, your chances of being listed in the search engines are not good. As such, the more directories you can link your sites in, the better.

Join USFreeAds & Start Posting Ads

Next, I recommend you join this classified ad service. You can join for free, but I recommend upgrading to the $10 a month paid level. Why? Because at the paid level, you can post unlimited number of ads and you can set all ads to auto-renew after the 40 day expiration period. The auto-renew feature is critically important because this creates a permanent link and web address to your ad for the search engines to recognize and index, resulting in potential free traffic to your ad.

Once you register, place your first ad and then click to view the ad. Copy the website address of your ad and submit that address to the search engines using http://www.submitexpress.com/ What this does is replicate your ad all over the Internet. No longer is your ad only residing on USFreeAds.com, but now, the search engines know about your ad and they will index it and rank it accordingly.

Make it your goal to write at least one ad per day and then submit your ad to the search engines for inclusion in the free search results. If you want to learn more about this technique, call me. Volume works best, so make it a point to build up to hundreds of these free ads. Make sure each ad is different, if only slightly, and place it under a different category for each ad. It is a good idea to place your ad in every category under home business opportunities, for example, and make your ad keyword rich - the search engines love keyword rich ads. For example, if you wanted to target people searching for a home business, you might pick keyword "best home based business" and write an ad that had that phrase strategically placed throughout the ad about 3 to 5 times.

Once you have submitted your ad web address to the search engines, if someone searched for keyword phrase "best home based business", your ad would stand a chance of being listed in Google's search results, for example. Call me for details on that.

Blastomatic - Blast Your Ads To Millions For Free. There are other links on this website that give you other free marketing resources. Look for them. Use Blastomatic to blast out ads that point to your SimpleGDI lead capture sites. Regular consistent use works best.

If you want a paid service that can blast unlimited numbers of ads to millions of free classified ad sites over and over again, check out:

This service cost $10 a month but it is worth every penny. It works best if you write an ad and submit it in every category at least once a week. Daily works better. If you do this for a month, and even longer, you will see the traffic to your site(s) begin to grow. It takes a little work, but if you spend a few minutes each day submitting and then resubmitting your ads using LeadsOMatic, you will see volume grow over time.

If you use LeadsOMatic and/or other ad blaster type services, be sure to register the email address you are using with LeadsOMatic or other services here:

Doing so will save you lots of time in verifying your email address over and over again. Most of the free classified ad sites require email verification, but if you verify once with Validatedemail.com then you will only be required to verify once initially and then reverify your email address once a week, and it will automatically remind you once every week to do so. When you purchase an ad either choose USA visitors only or worldwide for premium members. You do not want to market internationally on this venue unless they are premium members. If you upgrade to premium member you can actually make money viewing ads on this site. There is a one-time $10 charge to upgrade to premium member. After that, it is free to use other than the cost of placing ads.

An effective technique with business cards is to leave your business cards, 10 or 20 at a time at dry cleaner locations, by the cash register in stores, restaurant bulletin boards, etc., anywhere you normally visit. I also heard on a recent training call to put a business card in every bill that you pay or every piece of mail you mail out. Its cheap advertising and you want your card in front of a lot of people. You should also buy space in local community newsletters and have your business card listed. Most publications I deal with charge about $25 for a business card listing for a 90 day listing. TIP: Be sure to list an easy to remember website address on your business card that points directly to your GDI presentation.
